Itinerary in detail

Day 1: Las Vegas, Nevada
Make your way to the amazing MGM Grand Hotel & Casino and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of this amazing resort, with the largest casino in town, four swimming pools, two restaurants and fabulous entertainment 24/7, the MGM Grand is sure to delight. Finish your day with a stroll along the fabulous Las Vegas Strip.
Day 2: Las Vegas
A full day in Las Vegas and lots more time to explore the famous Las Vegas Strip and Fremont Street. If you only do one trip while you’re here make it the Grand Canyon; accessible by bus, car and helicopter, it’s got to be number one on your Vegas list. Take in a show or dance the night away at one of the MGM’s lively night clubs for your final night.
Day 3: Las Vegas – Kanab (199 miles)
It’s all about history and outdoor adventures at the small Utah town of Kanab. Enjoy a gentle hike along Buckskin Canyon, take a scenic drive along Cottonwood Canyon Grove or dive back in time at Moqui Cave, a natural history museum containing dinosaur tracks and Native American artefacts.
Day 4: Kanab – Lake Powell (75 miles)
A day to enjoy the incredible range of activities at Lake Powell where boat tours, kayaking, wakeboarding, water-skiing, swimming and fishing are all available by the lake. Maybe just chill out for a while on a secluded Lake Powel beach. Make sure you get your picture taken beside Rainbow Bridge National Monument, the largest natural stone bridge in the world!
Day 5: Lake Powell – Bluff (181 miles)
Discover how the early pioneers overcame seemingly unsurmountable obstacles on the Hole in the Wall Trail and get an insight into early pioneer life at Bluff Fort Visitor Centre. Be sure to visit Cemetery Hill for awe-inspiring views of the San Juan Valley. Bluff is also a great base for exploring the ancient rock art and Native American cliff dwellings at Bears Ears National Monument.
Day 6: Bluff - Moab (100 miles)
Take a stroll through the downtown shops, restaurants and galleries and maybe pick up a souvenir or two then head to the river for a scenic afternoon rafting trip on the famous Colorado River.
Day 7: Moab
A day to explore the spectacular landscape and vast canyon lands of Utah including Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park and the amazing dinosaur tracks at Moab Giants Dinosaur Park.
Day 8: Moab – Torrey (176 miles)
Another stunning day outdoors at Capitol Reef National Park; discover an amazing world of spectacular cliffs, massive domes, hidden arches and deep canyons. Torrey is an official International Dark Sky Community – an astronomer’s paradise – and the evening is taken care of.
Day 9: Torrey – Bryce (106 miles)
Saddle up and follow the trails used by Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid on a guided horse ride. Later on, wander through the famous hoodoos at Bryce Canyon National Park. For awe-inspiring views, take a drive to Sunrise and Sunset viewpoints.
Day 10: Bryce – Springdale (84 miles)
It’s got to be Zion National Park and the Scenic Drive today. Hop aboard the seasonal shuttle to see some of the most stunning rock formations the park has to offer, including the Great White Throne, Weeping Rock, the Emerald Pools and the Temple of Sinawava.
Day 11: Springdale
It’s back to the pristine wilderness of Zion National Park and time for an amazing walking trip along The Narrows. Parts of the hike are spent wading, walking and maybe even swimming in the river. Finish off your stay with a short drive to Grafton, Utah’s Ghost Town, said to be the most photographed ghost town in the West.
Day 12: Springdale – Las Vegas (159 miles)
Return to the amazing city of Las Vegas and the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino for some chill-out time by the swimming pool; with four pools to choose from and a seasonal lazy river ride, you’re sure to find the ideal spot. A trip to the gaming tables might be on the cards later on, followed by the stunning Cirque du Soleil show in the hotel theatre.
Day 13: Las Vegas
Last day in Las Vegas and your final chance to see the amazing sights and sounds of the Las Vegas Strip with some last-minute bargain hunting thrown in for good measure. Hopefully you’ve still got room in your case for whatever takes your fancy!
