Itinerary in detail

Day 1: Toronto
On arrival in Toronto, transfer independently to your downtown hotel. Your time is then free to enjoy the fine cuisine, varied nightlife and world-class shopping of Canada’s largest city.
Day 2: Toronto
With the day your own, discover the many highlights of Toronto, such as the CN Tower, the spectacular SkyDome and Ontario Place, as well as the ethnic diversity of Chinatown, Little Italy and Greektown.
Day 3: Toronto – Niagara Falls (130 km/80 miles)
Today’s route leads south and after traversing the orchards and vineyards of the Niagara Peninsula, you will arrive at the 19th century village of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Day 4: Niagara Falls – Kitchener (145 km/90 miles)
A two-hour drive will take you to Kitchener. Dating back to 1784, this charming rural region is the gateway to the Grand River Valley, renowned for its natural beauty and conservation areas.
Day 5: Kitchener – Midland (225 km/140 miles)
Travelling north to the shores of Georgian Bay, you’ll venture into the heart of Central Ontario and the rural town of Midland, your gateway to the picturesque Thirty Thousand Islands.
Day 6: Midland – Pembroke (375 km/233 miles)
Today you’ll enter the Pembroke/Ottawa Valley region, a fascinating multicultural mosaic of English, Scottish, Polish, Irish, German, Indian, French, Greek and Chinese settlers.
Day 7: Pembroke – Ottawa (150 km/93 miles)
Having driven along the Québec-Ontario border, you’ll arrive in the nation’s capital, Ottawa, where there’s time to explore the Parliament Buildings or take a cruise on the Ottawa River.
Day 8: Ottawa – Tremblant, Québec (170 km/105 miles)
Today, head north into the Laurentian Mountains and enjoy the scenic splendour of Mont-Tremblant National Park. On arrival at Tremblant, stroll through its beautiful pedestrian village.
Day 9: Tremblant
The day is free to enjoy the many activities of this luxury resort, with trail hiking, mountain biking and golf at your fingertips.
Day 10: Tremblant – Québec City (390 km/242 miles)
Head west to Québec City, Canada’s oldest city and North America’s cradle of French heritage, where the culture is best enjoyed by walking the enchanting cobbled streets and narrow lanes.
Day 11: Québec City
Your free day will allow time to discover sights such as the Fortifications, Place Royale, the Basilica, the dramatic shrine at Ste Anne-de-Beaupre, Montmorency Falls and Île d'Orléans.
Day 12: Québec City – Montreal (250 km/155 miles)
Follow the St Lawrence River southwest, bound for the thriving city of Montreal where, among the sights to see are Notre-Dame Basilica, Place d'Armes, Rue St Catherine and Old Montreal.
Day 13: Montreal – Gananoque, Ontario (365 km/226 miles)
Leave Montreal to the west and drive across into rural Ontario, entering the beautiful Thousand Islands region, where forested islands lie amid tranquil lakes.
Day 14: Gananoque – Toronto (290 km/180 miles)
Your journey ends with a drive along Lake Ontario. Whether then returning home or travelling on, you may wish to consider a night’s stop in Toronto to avoid rushing back to the airport.
