Agency Support Executive
Loughton, Essex, United Kingdom - Trade Sales

We are looking to recruit dynamic and enthusiastic staff to help us increase the awareness of USAirtours and Tailor Made Cruise Holidays across current and potential new business. The ideal candidate will come from a sales background and have past experience in an outbound calling role, USA knowledge would also be an advantage but not necessary.
The job involves working Monday to Friday in our busy office and attending travel shows and conferences when necessary.

To phone new travel agents and past customers to increase the awareness of the USAirtours products and encourage agents to book with us.


1. Required Experience
  • At least 1 years outbound calling experience consisting of at least 50% of your working day 
  • Previous sales experience
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Under 1 hour commute
  • Good communication skills 
  • Outgoing personality 
  • Confident telephone skills including the ability to overcome objections
2. Useful Experience
  • Previous travel industry experience
  • USA destination knowledge
  • Salary of £18,000 per annum plus bonus of up to 10%

USAirtours Trade Sales Consultant

Established for over 30 years, we pride ourselves on offering the best services to independent travel agents who need our product expertise to help them create high quality tailor made travel arrangements for their customers the USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
We are currently looking for Trade Sales Consultants to join our busy sales team to make bookings to the USA for our Travel Agents over the phone and by email.
We are offering you the opportunity to work for a dynamic and forward thinking organisation, arranging a wide variety of holidays including, Disneyworld, theme park passes, villas, hotels, twin centres, fly and cruise, multi centre, tailormade, motorhomes and much, much more.

  • If you have at least one year’s previous experience and are currently working within a similar sales role in the travel industry, can work in a pressurised environment and able to sell this could be a fantastic opportunity for you
  • The ability to create high quality tailor made itineraries to meet our customer’s needs and the sales experience to convert enquiries into bookings
  • Airline systems experience and prior knowledge of the USA and Scheduled Airlines would be preferred
  • Strong problem solving skills and multitasking abilities
  • Confident and friendly telephone manner and the ability to work well within a thriving team environment
  • We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who have a drive to succeed in sales and are committed to delivering outstanding customer service with a passion for the areas we cover
Working Monday – Saturday 40 hours per week based in our Loughton, Essex Office. In return we offer:
  • A competitive starting salary of £20,000 per annum guaranteed for the first 3 months
  • Our generous uncapped commission structure can give you on target earning of £30,000 when switching to basic + commission
