This exciting roundtrip beginning in Halifax explores Maritime through Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Breathtaking sights, Scottish, Native and Acadian heritage, and historic explorations of the Maritime Province all feature in this fascinating vacation. 
 
Day 1 - Arrival in Halifax 
Following your arrival at Halifax International Airport, transfer to your hotel and spend the day at your leisure exploring the beautiful Oceanside city. 
 
Day 2 - Halifax
Day 2 can be spent exploring the bustling city of Halifax. Situated on one of the world's largest harbours there's plenty of history surrounding maritime heritage. Discover the many museums on the waterfront featuring the restored Historic Properties or board the harbour cruise on the Bluenose II .  Pay a visit to the Public Gardens or the Citadel; around since the 18th century. There's plenty to discover in this historic yet modern city. Spend the night in Halifax.

Day 3 - Halifax to Western Shore
Leaving Halifax, on day 3 you'll be travelling along the Nova Scotia coast taking in the views of the edge of Halifax. Driving past the northern shore you'll see the stunning St. Margaret's Bay before reaching the beautiful Western Shore area. You'll be spending the night in Western Shore, just opposite the water from Oak Island.
 
Day 4 - Western Shore 
With the resort ideally located on the southern shores of Nova Scotia, you get to enjoy the spectacular views of Mahone Bay and the famous Oak Island. Spend the day strolling the seaside trail and be in with a chance to see the humpback and fin whales around Tancook Island. Spend the evening by the water looking out at the sailboats or enjoy a fresh dish while you enjoy the views.

Day 5 - Digby

Spend the night in Digby.

Day 6 - Truro 
Driving from Digby to Truro gives you the opportunity to admire the beauty of the Bay of Fundy; famous for its extreme tides with 100 billion tonnes of water are carried onto the day twice each day! As you make your way to your new destination you'll pass some historic landmarks including the Annapolis Royal Area, Grand Pre National Historic Site and the Fort Edward National Historic Site. Spend the night in Truro.

Day 7 - Truro to Charlottetown 
As you make your way to Pictou you'll get chance to explore the Hector Heritage Quay. From here, take the ferry across the Northumberland Strait to Canada's smallest province; Prince Edward Island. Famous for its charm, Prince Edward Island is attractive yet peaceful with a spectacular low rolling countryside. Arrive in Charlottetown and spend the night here. 
 
Day 8 - Charlottetown
You'll be free to spend the day at your leisure to explore Charlottetown. Discover the elegance of the city at Great George Street and Old Charlotte Town or explore the harbour where surrounding fertile farmland is shipped. Spend the night in Charlottetown. 
 
Charlottetown Inn and Conference Centre
The Charlottetown Inn sits within easily walking access to some of this city's historic amenities including Province House, Confederation Centre and the Historic Waterfront. Day 9 - Antigonish/ New Glasgow

Day 10 - Antignoish to Baddeck 
As you depart your hotel and head to Baddeck you'll reach Ports Hawkesbury; the commercial hub located at the tip of St. Georges Bay. Enjoy the stunning views as you pass through the fields of the bay area before reaching the Bras D'Or Lake lowlands and spending the night here.
 
Day  11 - Baddeck 
Day 11 is yours to spend in Baddeck. Enjoy a scenic drive along the Cabot Trail into Cape Breton; running past lochs and glens and through Cape Breton Highlands National Park where you'll see amazing sights of steep cliffs and idyllic beaches. Board one of the Love Boats in Cheticamp for a guided tour observing whales, seals, seabirds and eagles. Spend the night in Baddeck. 
 
Inverary Resort

Day 12 - West Bay

You'll continue on to Bras D'Or Lake and spend the night in West Bay.

Day 13 - Liscombe Mills
Head back through Port Hawksbury and over the Canso Causeway on route to Liscombe Mills. Heading along the southern Nova Scotian coastline you'll observe natural habitats, beach parks and shorelines along the Atlantic coast. Spend the night in Liscombe Mills.
 
Liscombe Lodge

Day 14 - Halifax/Departure
Before taking the Marine Drive back to Halifax, spend the morning exploring the Liscombe Game Sanctuary holding an abundance of wildlife including mink, muskrat, deer and moose. Check in for your return flight at Halifax International Airport.
