Vancouver - Penticton - Revelstoke - Banff - Jasper - 100 Mile House - Whistler
 
For an exciting adventure packed with culture, history and spectacular sights, Great Parks of the West has plenty on offer. This two week roundtrip showcases the beautiful national parks of the Canadian Rockies incorporating an action packed itinerary as well as plenty of time spent at your leisure.
 
Day 1 - Arrive In Vancouver
Upon arrival from Vancouver International Airport, check in at your hotel and spend the day at your leisure. 
 
Day 2 - Vancouver 
Day 2 is spent exploring Vancouver and its surrounding areas. Catch a San Francisco-style trolley for a complete city tour hopping on and off as you please to enjoy the many attractions; galleries, gardens, parks and restaurants. Spend the night in Vancouver. 
 
Sandman Hotel Vancouver City Centre
Ideally located at the heart of Downtown Vancouver, the Sandman Hotel is situated opposite Rogers Arena and BC Place. Just minutes from Vancouver's famous Robson Street, you're in the perfect place to explore restaurants and lounges.  The historic neighbourhood of Gastown is also just a short 10 minute walk; offering nightlife, shopping, pubs and restaurants. The well-appointed guest rooms are complete with modern extras including complimentary Wi-Fi while the hotel itself offers a range of amenities including a swimming pool, gym and on site restaurant. 
 
Day 3 - Vancouver to Penticton 
As you make your way from Vancouver to Penticton you'll travel through the Coastal Mountains and Manning Provincial Park where you can take a walk on the Dewdney Trail and Rhododendron Flats. Known for its beaches and hot climate, Penticton lies on the lower end of the Okanagan Lake. You will spend the night in Penticton. 
 
Sandman Hotel Penticton 
Surrounded by fresh water lakes and spectacular rolling mountains, the Sandman Hotel Penticton sits in the centre of BC's landscape. There's an array of activities for everyone to enjoy located just across from the South Okanagan Centre, beaches, wineries, golf courses and ski resorts. Take a stroll down by the Penticton Channel or enjoy sightseeing the beautiful surroundings. Day 4 - Penticton to Revelstoke 
Take the morning of day 4 at your leisure and explore the Okanagan Valley. Heading to Revelstoke enjoy the views as you drive past picturesque waterfalls, peaks and spectacular lakes. Spend the night in Revelstoke. 
 
Sandman Hotel Revelstoke

Enjoy endless adventures with hiking routes, camping, heli-skiing, skiing and golfing. Day 5 - Revelstoke to Banff 
Leaving Revelstoke and head to Canada's oldest national park, Banff, enjoy a scenic drive past the Glacier National Park and Rogers Pass and finally arrive and take in the excitement of the bustling resort town where you'll stay overnight. 
 
Day 6 - Banff
On day 6 you can discover Banff and its surrounding areas. Why not visit the Fairmont Banff Springs or Bow Falls? Take a ride on the Sulphur Mountain Gondola or give river rafting a go on Lake Minnewanka.  After a busy day of adventures wind down at your hotel and spend the night in Banff. 
 
High Country Inn Banff 
Located just two blocks from downtown, this accommodation is ideal for exploring the local restaurants, shopping and activities. The spectacular mountain backdrop promotes hiking trails and guided tours while other attractions include riding stables and an indoor heated pool. Day 7 - Banff to Jasper
Head towards Jasper following the Icefields Parkway. Why not make a stop at the Peyto Lake and take an Ice Explorer Ride on the Columbia Icefield. Spend the night at your Jasper hotel before heading out to the National Park on day 8. 
 
Day 8 - Jasper
On day 8 you have a full day to explore Jasper and its surrounding area. Discover attractions such as the SkyTram and Miette Hot Springs. If you're looking for an exciting excursion, the Athabasca River holds white-water rafting!  Spend the night at your leisure at your hotel in Jasper. 
 
Marmot Lodge
The Marmot Lodge is perfectly situated in Jasper National Park, close by to a variety of activities and attractions for all to discover. The Lodge hosts indoor and outdoor hot tubs as well as an indoor pool while the comfortable rooms offer modern amenities including a HD TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. 
 
Day 9 - Jasper to 100 Mile House
As you make your commute from Jasper to 100 Mile House you'll pass through the Yellowhead Pass and the highest peak in the Rockies; Mount Robson. As you continue to drive along the Thompson River you'll cover the perimeter of the Wells Grey Provincial Park with stops in the Blue River and Clearwater. 
 
Day 10 - 100 Mile House
Founded during the days of the Cariboo Gold Rush when gold seekers headed to the goldfields, 100 Mile House is a great spot for tourists. Now the prime location for cattle ranching and leisure activities, this location offers great history to be uncovered. 
 
Ramada Limited 100 Mile House
Located just off the gold rush trail, Ramada Limited is in the prime place for guests; close by to popular attractions and destinations in the surrounding area. Tour the ranch at 108 Heritage Site or try one of the many amenities such as biking, hiking, horseback riding and cross-country skiing. Nearby is the 100 Mile House Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary as well as the South Cariboo Recreation Centre ideal for ice skating and hockey. The rooms offer complimentary Wi-Fi, flat screen TV's and free breakfast. 
 
Day 11 - 100 Mile House to Whistler
As you make your way from 100 Mile House to Whistler, experience a scenic drive heading South along the Cariboo Highway and Duffey Lake Road where you will reach the edge of Garibaldi Provincial Park. Spend the night in Whistler at your leisure. 
 
Day 12 - Whistler
On day 12 in Whistler you'll be free to spend the day enjoying the outdoor activities with a scenic mountain backdrop including windsurfing, golfing, hiking, boating and tennis. There's plenty of shopping to be had in the Whistler Village. After a busy day head back to the hotel and spend the night relaxing. 
 
Whistler Village Inn and Suites
